The Seals gives back to the community through several programs:Seals Special Beach Day: We will host a yearly Special Beach Day for kids with special needs. We firmly believe that the ocean has many threraputic powers that aid in development of some motor skills. The Ride A Wave foundation assists us in this event. Invitees to the even are the Devereux Foundation The Autism Society SB Chapter, and the Braille Institute,. The event issponsored by the SB Parks and Rec. The event is free of charge to all participants.
ASA Surf Day: This event is put together by the Autism Society of Santa Barbara and is for Autistic children only. To get more info please call the Autism Society. This event is free of charge to all ASA members and non-members.
Seals Surf-A-Thon: At this event Seals student raise money for local organizations. Past recipients include Franklin School, The Marine Mammal Center, and Goleta Family School. The event featured music from Cowboy surfer, food donated by Jordano’s, and plenty of surf and games to keep the stoke going. Please come and join us for one or all of our events.
